To defend its members' interests worldwide, CEDRO is a member of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organizations (IFRRO).

In the context of IFRRO, CEDRO signs bilateral agreements for reciprocal representation with counterpart bodies in other countries. By virtue of those agreements, we commit to defend in Spain the interests of the member authors and publishers of those other bodies, while they represent CEDRO members in their respective countries.

Thanks to this international cooperation, CEDRO licenses in Spain the copying of works published in other countries and managed by foreign organisations with which we have signed bilateral agreements. Furthermore, the agreements also enable a Spanish author or publisher to receive through CEDRO the royalties collected for foreign copies of their works.

CEDRO currently has in place bilateral agreements with the following foreign organisations:

  1. Belgium: REPROBEL
  2. Denmark: COPY-DAN
  3. Finland: KOPIOSTO
  4. Iceland: Fjölis
  5. Norway: Kopinor
  6. Russia: COPYRUS
  7. Switzerland: Pro Litteris
  8. Uruguay: Asociación Uruguaya para la Tutela Organizada de los derechos Reprográficos (AUTOR)
