CEDRO currently has 15,643 members, including authors (14.190) and publishers (1,453).
Author members of CEDRO include writers and translators of all kinds of works (literary, scientific, technical, educational, information, dissemination, etc.) and journalists and authors of articles and other material for periodicals.
The publishing houses affiliated to CEDRO, which account for over 95% of the Spanish publishing industry, comprise all subject areas, ranging from fiction to university textbooks, and including essays, science and technology, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and reference works, etc. CEDRO also represents publishers of periodicals (especially of cultural magazines and trade and specialist papers) and of music scores.
CEDRO likewise represents the members of the 31 foreign counterpart associations with which we have signed bilateral agreements, including our equivalent institutions in Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Canada (Quebec), Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapur, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uruguay.
