About CEDRO

This website (http://www.cedro.org/ifrro2005madrid) has been created by CEDRO with the aim of offering practical information to the delegates attending the IFRRO AGM 2005 in Madrid.

We, at CEDRO, thought it would be a good idea to gather not only the agenda and other documentes related to the AGM, but also all the little useful things that one is usually interested in when preparing a business journey abroad (eg., the weather, dress code for social events, what to do in your free time, who you will meet there from the local organization, etc.). And that’s what we have tried to do in this website; the first of many warm welcomes that the staff here at CEDRO will give you this October in Madrid.

Please note that some of the official documents of the AGM (Board annual report, Status reports, etc.) will not be publicly available on this website If you want to consult them, please visit the only-for-IFRRO-members section of the IFRRO website (you will need your user name and password to log in): http://www.ifrro.org/ . We have also included several links to this IFRRO page in our unofficial AGM website.

In all the pages of this website you will see the logo of the IFRRO AGM 2005: the images of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the main characters of the famous novel written by Cervantes. The reason why CEDRO has decided to use these images in the logo is because in 2005, Spain and all the Spanish-speaking countries celebrate the 400 anniversary of the publication of the first part of Don Quixote (El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha). To learn more about Don Quixote and the celebration of this 400 anniversary, click here.

The design of this website is the same of our corporate website (http://www.cedro.org). That means that the investment we have had to do has not been too big, since we have taken advantage of and reused the structure, databases, and programming we already had as the infrastructure for our general website.

The responsible for the development of this IFRRO AGM website has been our Communication Department, with the external collaboration of a young Mexican journalist and good friend of CEDRO, Álex González.
