We currently have 21.646 members: 19.783 authors and 1.863 publishing houses.
Among our authors, there are writers and translators of all type of works (literary, scientific, technical, training, general information, etc.) as well as journalists and authors of articles and other works for periodicals.
The publishing houses members, who represent 95% of the total Spanish publishing production, cover all the genres and topics, from fiction books to university manuals and textbooks, including essays, scientific-technical works, dictionaries and encyclopaedias, etc. We also represent publishers of periodicals (cultural magazines and specialized and professional magazines) and those of musical scores, as well as press publishers.
By legal order, we also represent authors and publishers who are not members of our Entity regarding the collective management of the rights of compensation derived from private copying, as well as non member authors regarding the collective management of loan rights.
Finally, we represent authors and publishers associated to the homologue entities from other countries with which we have signed agreements of bilateral representation.
